Virgin Voyages FAQ

  • When can I book a shore excursion?
    All Sailors will have the ability to book shore excursions directly from the Sailor App or through their travel agent at least 120 days prior to their voyage start, and those booked in RockStar Quarters will get early access to book within 135 days. Payment for shore excursions will be due at the time of booking.
  • How do I cancel my shore excursion?
    Sailors who wish to cancel a shore excursion must do so 24 hours before the day it is scheduled. This can be done pre-voyage through the Virgin Voyages App or by contacting Sailor Services. While on board, Sailors can also cancel before the 24-hour cancellation deadline by stopping at the Chart Room on Deck 7.
  • Can I reschedule my shore excursion?
    Sailors can reschedule a shore excursion before the cancellation deadline (24 hours prior to service) unless otherwise noted in the description, which can be found in the Need to Know section in the Virgin Voyages App.
  • What is Bar Tab and how does it work?
    Bar Tab is drinks credit that’s pre-purchased to spend on premium beverages all around the ships and at The Beach Club at Bimini. For every Bar Tab purchased, you get an extra amount added. Unused Bar Tab credit is not refundable at the end of a voyage.
  • How can I buy a Bar Tab?
    Bar Tabs can be purchased through the Virgin Voyages app, My Account or via your travel agent.
  • Can I buy a Bar Tab onboard?
    It is not possible to purchase a Bar Tab onboard.
  • When will I get my Band?
    You will be able to pick up The Band at the terminal during embarkation.
  • I am booked on back-to-back sailings. How many Bands will I get?
    Because they're tied to individual sailings, you'll receive a brand new Band for each voyage.
  • When can i book dining reservations?
    You can book dining experiences during the pre-voyage period directly from the Virgin Voyages App or through your travel agent starting 45 days before departure, and if you are booked in Mega RockStar and RockStar Quarters you will have the ability to book starting 60 days before.
  • Is there a self-service laundry onboard?
    There is no self-service launderette on board. Virgin Voyages do offer a laundry service. You'll find a laundry slip in your cabin with instructions on what to do.
  • Can i get my clothes ironed/pressed?
    There is a full laundry service on board. You'll find a laundry slip in the cabin with instructions on what to do.
  • Where can I get a beach/pool towel?
    Pool towels are located on the open deck at the Aquatic Club - Deck 15.
  • For the upper beds, what are the weight limitations?
    The Pullman bed weight capacity is 250kg (551 pounds).
  • What plug sockets are in the cabins?
    All ships provide North American standard 110 volt AC and European standard 220 volt AC outlets.
  • Is there a safe in my cabin?
    Yes, all cabins are equipped with a safe for the protection of your valuables. Big enough to hold a 17" laptop.
  • Are there irons and boards in the cabins?
    While irons and boards are not set up in our cabins, we do offer steamers on special request.
  • Where can I store medication that needs to be refrigerated?
    There are coolers in all cabins. If these are not cool enough contact Sailor Services for options.
  • Is there Wi-Fi on board?
    Yes, unlimited WiFi browsing is included for all Sailors. So there's no charge for social media, email, web browsing or messaging. An upgraded Premium entertainment package is also be available for just a bit extra to support streaming. It is possible to connect up to 2 devices simultaneously.
  • What drinks are included?
    All essential drinks are included - sodas, still/sparkling water and non-pressed juices.
  • What is Ship Eats?
    ShipEats is the onboard food and drink delivery service, which you can access through the Virgin Voyages App.
  • What is the time for disembarkation?
    Disembarkation starts once the ship has clearance at the port and ends at 10:45am.
  • Is breakfast available on the morning of disembarkation?
    Yes. Razzle Dazzle, The Wake, and The Galley will be open for limited dining hours for breakfast on disembarkation day.
