What drinks are free on a P&O cruise ship?

Updated: Sep 29, 2025

Before you board it can sometimes be confusing as to which drinks you need to pay for and which are included. Here we break down by location what drinks are included on a P&O cruise.

The main dining rooms

Water as well as basic tea and coffee are available in all main dining rooms. Juices are also available at breakfast.

The buffet/the Quays

Water as well as tea (PG Tips, Earl Grey, mint tea etc), coffee and milk are available in the buffet. Juices are also available at breakfast.

Around the ship

With the newer ships has come water bottle refill stations - these are currently onboard Arvia and Iona.

A complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink is also served on Celebration Night to each passenger.

In your cabin

All cabins have a kettle as well as PG Tips tea, instant coffee and decaf coffee. Sachets of milk (semi-skimmed & whole) are also available but we prefer to fill a mug of fresh milk from the buffet and keep it in the fridge.

Other options

Alternatively there is the option to take drinks onboard. Check out our article here for what you can take onboard: Can I take drinks onboard P&O?
