Resilient Lady
After completing her inaugural season in Australia, Virgin Voyages' newest vessel will embark on three captivating itineraries from her homeport in Athens, spanning from May to July 2024. The lineup includes the ever-popular "Greek Island Glow" voyage, offering enchanting visits to Santorini and Mykonos; the "Adriatic Sea and Greek Gems," featuring stops along Croatia's Dalmatian Coast and visits to Kotor and Corfu; and last but not least, the "Starry Nights in Greece & Croatia," which combines the best elements of the other two seven-night itineraries.
In response to popular demand, Virgin Voyages will also return to its British heritage with a series of voyages lasting from three to six nights aboard Resilient Lady. Commencing in mid-August 2024 and continuing through September, these journeys will include highlights such as "English Sights and European Delights," with stops in Le Verdon (Bordeaux), La Coruna, and Bilbao. Furthermore, the charming cities of Amsterdam and Bruges will be featured on the itinerary for this fall.
Resilient Lady's European schedule also encompasses two repositioning journeys, starting from Portsmouth and concluding in Barcelona, which will introduce Morocco to the brand's expanding list of new destinations. Following this exciting voyage, Resilient will wrap up her Mediterranean season with a Barcelona-to-Athens voyage, blending the highlights of the brand's signature "Irresistible Med" and "Greek Island Glow" itineraries, while also adding Catania, Sicily to the mix.
In October 2024, Resilient Lady will embark on a 44-night repositioning cruise from Athens to Australia, featuring stops in iconic destinations like Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, and Bali along the way. Upon reaching the land Down Under, Sailors will have the opportunity to choose from 15 brand new itineraries and explore nine new ports, including Broome, Albany, Adelaide, Newcastle, Mooloolaba, Port Douglas, Brisbane, Eden, and Kangaroo Island.
Valiant Lady
To kick off her winter season in 2023, Valiant Lady will set sail from Barcelona on October 29th and launch her renowned itineraries from Miami, including the popular "Eastern Caribbean Antilles" and "Western Caribbean Charm" routes. From January to March 2024, she will shift her operations to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she will offer two southern Caribbean voyages originally planned for Brilliant Lady: "The Southeastern Caribbean Isles" and "Sunsets in the Lesser Antilles".
With Scarlet Lady scheduled for dry dock next year, Valiant Lady, her sister ship, will take her place starting in April 2024. Departing from Miami, Valiant Lady will continue to provide the beloved four- and five-night Caribbean rotations that are adored by Sailors, as well as a special six-night "Holidaze and Nights" voyage.
Scarlet Lady
In the upcoming summer season, spanning from May to October 2024, Scarlet Lady will bask in the Mediterranean sunshine, taking on Valiant Lady's two enticing seven-night itineraries: "Irresistible Med" and "French Daze and Ibiza Nights." Then, on November 3rd, Scarlet Lady will embark on an 11-night repositioning journey from Barcelona to Civitavecchia, with stops in Mallorca, Corsica, and Sardinia. Following a brief dry dock period for routine maintenance, improvements, and adjustments, Scarlet Lady will spring back into action with an exciting 16-night Transatlantic voyage from Rome to Miami. This fresh itinerary will include visits to Funchal (Madeira, Portugal) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain).
Upon her arrival in Miami on December 14, 2024, Scarlet Lady will offer Valiant's signature six- and eight-night winter voyages through the spring of 2025, featuring "Western Caribbean Charm" and the "Eastern Caribbean Antilles." Originally introduced in the fall of 2022, these longer routes departing from Miami provide late-night stays in San Juan, authentic experiences amid the stunning and rugged landscapes of Roatan, and a delightful taste of the US Virgin Islands with a day-trip to St. Croix.
Brilliant Lady
While pioneering the introduction of three mid-sized vessels within a span of less than two years is a remarkable achievement in the industry, even the Cruise Critic's top-rated cruise line (as voted by readers) is not immune to global challenges. Despite meticulous planning, Virgin Voyages has encountered unforeseen hurdles related to construction, supply chain disruptions, and staffing issues that have led to delays in launching their new ship, Brilliant Lady.
As a brand known for its award-winning service and exceptional experiences, Virgin Voyages has had to make the difficult decision to postpone the highly anticipated launch of Brilliant Lady. The company is actively assessing new potential launch dates to ensure they can meet the high standards that their valued Sailors have come to expect.
For guests whose bookings have been affected by this postponement, Virgin Voyages is committed to providing generous compensation packages, including exclusive rebooking benefits and onboard credit, once the new launch date is confirmed.
