SLEEPER TRAIN: LONDON TO GLASGOW – CALEDONIAN SLEEPER

Thanks for joining us once more as we venture aboard the Caledonian Sleeper Lowlander service to Glasgow Central! The journey got off to a rough start due to a service alteration, which meant instead of heading off on time from London Euston, we ended up starting the journey at Watford Junction quite a bit behind schedule.

We were upgraded for free to a double room on the train due to a fault in our cabin. Even with the delay, and the fault, we couldn’t fault (see what I done there) the staff one bit, they were excellent!

As we arrived into Glasgow very early (we made up the time) we headed down to Tim Hortons to have a bite to eat for breakfast before picking up our hire car! We booked the car through Sixt and paid a good price for the four days we had the car.

The drive to our cabin was stunning, the weather wasn’t, but that didn’t distract too much from the snow capped mountains.
