It's time for day 4 Vlog onboard Ventura - our 4 night P&O Cruise to Amsterdam!
Due to low visibility departing Amsterdam on the evening of day 3, we were quite delayed leaving Amsterdam in the morning of day 4. We left the dock around 6am, which meant we were able to watch our departure toward the sea lock during day light.
We decided to opt for breakfast in the cabin this morning, and for no charge you are able to have continental breakfast delivered at a time that suits you. We sat on the balcony for quite some time as we headed out to sea, before grabbing a coffee and exploring the ship. There is a nice sized shop onboard selling all essentials, food, gifts and P&O merchandise.
During our walk around of the ship, we were amazed at the amount of viewing points onboard, from the promenade on deck seven, to the side viewing point on deck 19.
We had paid and pre-booked afternoon tea at The Epicurean prior to boarding, and enjoyed a relaxing meal in a quiet environment. There was a selection of teas and coffees offered, and the menu was heavily leaning towards sea food, however, we called up before hand and asked that we were to have alternatives as we aren't fans of sea food. They swapped out all seafood for other items, which we were very pleased about.
By the time we finished Afternoon Tea, we were very full. A few hours later we headed back to the buffet for some dinner, however, as we wanted something different for dessert, we headed to The Glass House, and ordered a few bits. Well, as it was a taster selection, we was not expecting so much food, but were met with 6 desserts!
As this was our last evening onboard, we had to pack up our cabin, head to sleep, and get ready to leave the ship the following morning... boo. Our disembarkation was very quick, there were no queues and our luggage was ready and waiting for us.
We hope you have enjoyed watching our Ventura series, we really enjoyed our time onboard!
