Big news for Marella fans! From June 2025, all ships in the Marella Cruises fleet will be serving up a slice of home in their latest onboard dining addition: Piccadilly’s, a brand-new gastropub-style restaurant packed with British favourites and a few surprises along the way.

And the best bit? It’s included as part of Marella’s all-inclusive offering.

A Taste of Home at Sea

Piccadilly’s is the third new restaurant to join Marella’s main dining line-up and it’s clear they’ve pulled out all the stops. The idea is simple: relaxed dining that feels familiar, comforting, and a little indulgent. Think pub classics - done properly.

Forget soggy chips or dry pies. This is modern gastropub fare that gives traditional British dishes a glow-up. Inspired by the UK’s thriving pub dining scene (where you’re just as likely to find a Michelin-starred chef behind the pass as you are a pint-puller), Piccadilly’s brings that elevated, “tastes like home” feeling to the high seas.

What’s on the Menu?

There’s a rotating menu, so things stay fresh throughout your cruise. Here’s a peek at some of the standout dishes:

Starters include:

  • ‘Chicken or the Egg’ – smoked chicken terrine with crispy hen egg and piccalilli

  • Devilled Chicken Livers on Toast

  • Chips & Gravy (yes, it’s a starter – and why not?)

  • Leek and Potato Soup

  • Smoked Salmon Roulade

Mains to tuck into:

  • Steak & Ale Pie

  • Roast Chicken Dinner

  • Angus Beef & Yorkshire Pudding

  • Vegan Steak & Chips

  • ‘Curry Mile’ – a veggie tikka pie with dal makhani

  • Beer Battered Whiting from ‘The Chippy’

Sharing plates are also a thing:

  • ‘Great British Burgers’ – with beef, Yorkshire pudding, pork, chips and slaw

  • ‘The Arthur Duke Pasty Duo’ – two pastry options with sides

And yes - desserts are worth saving room for.

Expect options like:

  • Orange Jaffa Cake with 70% dark chocolate

  • Warm Apple Fritters

  • Queen of Puddings

  • King of Rice Puddings

  • Chocolate & Vanilla Choux Bun

  • Classic British cheese board

There’s even a Bourbon biscuit ice cream sandwich if you’re feeling cheeky.

Fancy Something Extra?

While most of the menu is part of your all-inclusive dining, there are a few premium extras if you’re in the mood to treat yourself:

  • Rack of Lamb – £11.95

  • Seafood Thermidor Frites – £11.95

  • Sirloin Steak – £11.95

  • Belgian Chocolate Dome – £4.45 (this one sounds ridiculously good – brownie, ganache, ice cream and hot caramel sauce)

When & Where?

Piccadilly’s will be a walk-in restaurant, open daily from 6pm to 9pm, with space for up to 250 diners. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and will offer the kind of friendly, attentive service Marella is known for.

This latest concept joins returning favourites like Kora La and Surf & Turf, giving guests even more choice at sea.

Why We Love This Move

Let’s be honest, a lot of us cruise for the food - and Marella knows their audience. By tapping into that nostalgic love of British comfort food and combining it with the ease of all-inclusive dining, they’ve created something that feels both familiar and fresh. Whether it’s your first time sailing with Marella or you’re a seasoned guest, Piccadilly’s looks set to be a firm favourite.

So next time you’re onboard, pull up a chair, order a pint (or a posh dessert), and enjoy a bit of Britain - reimagined at sea.
