If you’re a music lover setting sail with Cunard, there’s a new reason to get excited – and it’s one for the playlist. This autumn, Cunard is teaming up with the legendary Abbey Road Studios to launch a brand-new experience aboard Queen Elizabeth. Say hello to the Abbey Road Listening Lounge, a first-of-its-kind collaboration that brings the magic of iconic music to the high seas.

Set in the stylish Commodore Club, this 60-minute experience invites guests to slip on a pair of Bowers & Wilkins headphones and immerse themselves in a beautifully curated soundscape. Think deep cuts, iconic tracks, and spine-tingling film scores – all themed and selected to elevate those slow sea days.

It’s a celebration of music history, with a lineup that includes Ed Sheeran (who once recorded aboard Queen Mary 2), Fela Kuti, Gregory Porter, Ezra Collective, Little Simz, and of course, The Beatles – whose Liverpool roots connect them closely to Cunard’s own heritage. In fact, 1969 saw both the release of Abbey Road and the maiden transatlantic voyage of QE2. A pretty iconic year all round.

But it doesn’t stop at pop and soul. Guests can also enjoy a cinematic journey through some of Abbey Road’s most iconic film scores. We’re talking Harry Potter, Skyfall, The Lord of the Rings, Black Panther, Barbie, Wonka, and more. The sort of soundtracks that give you goosebumps, especially when paired with a sea view and a signature Cunard cocktail.

This exclusive experience will roll out during Queen Elizabeth’s Caribbean season from Miami this October, available on select sea days. Expect perfectly paired drinks, elegant surroundings, and that unmistakable Cunard attention to detail.

For superfans, things get even more exciting in 2026. Cunard is hosting a special Abbey Road at Sea Event Voyage from Southampton to New York (sailing M627B on 23 October 2026). On board, you’ll find live music, a photography exhibition, and behind-the-scenes talks from Abbey Road’s award-winning recording engineers. It’s set to be a week-long celebration of music, creativity, and Cunard’s enduring link to the arts.

As Cunard President Katie McAlister puts it: 'Incredible voyages deserve incredible soundtracks.' And she’s not wrong. From jazz and soul to symphonies and rock, this partnership strikes all the right chords.

So, if you’re cruising soon and fancy a little something different, keep an ear out for the Abbey Road Listening Lounge. It’s a truly unique way to soak in the scenery – soundtrack and all.
